Phase 1: Ideation & Sketch
I started by sketching up a design I thought aligned with what the client had in mind. This involved creating a concept for both the outer covers of the postcard, as well as the interior.
Phase 2: Illustrations
Once I showed my sketches with my fellow designer friends and got their perspective on it, I made any necessary changes and went onto illustrate the different components of the overall design. To draw and render the illustrations, I used the app Procreate; then transferred everything over to Adobe Illustrator to assemble the card design.
